Are guys good at masking their emotions?

I am noticing that many guys like professors, people at work, bosses ect... seem really neutral towards girls when they are in university, work ect... But, those same men check out the same girls(when they are not looking wich is normal i guesse) when they are outside of the profesional setting.. or even try to hit on them in a desperate or perverted way...
