Difference between common and endler's guppy?

Apparently there are two versions of guppy... The common, sometimes inbred guppy and endler's guppy?? What's the difference? Can someone supply me with two pictures to show each guppy? And possibly explain... Which is better usually? I saw two different types of guppies in a store, and got a male of both...
